2010 RX-8 For Sale less than 20,000 miles
I'd like to sell my silver 2010 RX-8 Sport with under 19,000 miles.
Manual 6-speed. I can sell it set up for SCCA Street, or revert
it to all-stock.
I purchased the car from Oak Tree Mazda as a Certified Used Car with
about 8,000 miles on it in May, 2012. I put so few miles on it that I
follow the maintenance schedule for time rather than miles. Oil
changes every 6 months with Redline motor oil, differential and
transmission every 2 years (last few have been Redline in the
transmission, Lubrication Engineers in the differential). Paint,
bodywork, interior, and mechanical parts are all in excellent condition.
Bad Stuff:
- There are small dark spots in the paint on the right front and
right rear fender lips, that I noticed shortly after I got the car
home from the dealer. I have not found a way to remove them. They
are not very noticable unless you are looking carefully.
- I backed the car into another car's bumper recently. The rear
bumper had some scratches on the left side, so it was refinished and repainted, and the extremely meticulous body
shop noticed some bent metal inside/under the quarter panel, which
they repaired, repainted, and blended with the quarter panel.
- There are a few tiny chips in the paint.
- It might soon be time to replace the battery.
Upgrades:
- Mazda iPod integration module
- clear (80% transmission) IR-rejecting tint on all windows
- oil cooler guards
SCCA Street parts (currently installed)
- Koni Yellow shocks ($400 to part out)
- RX-8 R3 rear swaybar ($100 to part out)
- O.Z. Alleggerita HLT wheels, 17.2 pounds each, anthracite color,
with 245/40-18 Dunlop Direzza Z1 Star Spec tires ($1200 to part out)
- custom built axle-back single-outlet Magnaflow muffler. I added a
flange to the stock muffler so I could swap back and forth (stays with
car)
The stock wheels and tires were removed and stored in a garage at
around 8,000 miles. Those will be included with the car.
I'm looking for $14,000 for car + all parts, $12,500 for car without
the parts (OZ wheels, Koni shocks, R3 swaybar). The car is in
Glendora, California.
